As Business Unit Director for Marketing and Managed Services, Gijs-Jan Huisman brings international sales management experience to the team. Prior to joining Pink Elephant in January 2014 Gijs-Jan worked for EXIN (Examination Institute for Information Science) for 3.5 years. During his period within EXIN he met training providers and technology companies across the globe, providing the opportunity to discuss views, challenges and opportunities with multiple industry leaders, and providing the appropriate solutions to meet their needs.
Having lived in London as a student, he is pleased to be back in the United Kingdom. In his new role as Head of Marketing and Managed Services he brings with him an entrepreneurial spirit and a commercial drive to optimise Pink Elephant’s range of IT Support Solutions and improve the company’s visibility in the (digital) marketplace.
As the Head of Finance, Kalpana brings with her many years rich and diverse experience in the accountancy and finance field within commercial (private) and Not-For- Profit sectors. Kalpana was born in Nepal and moved to the UK in 2000 where she studied at Oxford Brookes before undertaking her first role as a Trust Accountant at Ruskin Mill Trust. She is a Chartered Accountant (ACCA) and has a Master’s Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Oxford Brookes University.
Having joined Pink Elephant EMEA in 2012, Kalpana is responsible for preparing, monitoring and maintaining cash-flow and pricing. She also takes full responsibilities in preparing and submitting all types of Tax’s (indirect tax- VAT, direct taxes-corporate tax and income tax) to the HMRC. Preparing the company’s annual accounts and complying with all types requirements by the HMRC and Companies House are some of her many duties.
Kalpana has consistently delivered outstanding results and continues to be a major asset within the Pink Elephant EMEA Management Team.
As Business Unit Director for Education & Consulting, Graham McDonald brings over 10 years senior ITSM experience to the Management Team of Pink Elephant. With an inherent understanding of market drivers and the key issues faced by our clients, he is able to combine his in-depth knowledge and experience of ITSM principles to deliver unique client solutions.
Graham is responsible for developing and marketing new and existing business across the standard and customised portfolio of products and services. This includes the standard range of education and consulting services based on tried and tested methods for achieving service improvement, but Pink Elephant stands apart with collective understanding of the need for organisation, cultural and people change to affect the best outcomes. With a broad range of blue chip clients, Graham has consistently delivered outstanding results for both Pink Elephant and our clients, including major banking, pharmaceutical and service organisations and will be a major asset to the management team.
As the head of operations for the UK Company, Luci brings over 15 years of experience in ITSM to the management team. As an employee who has progressed through the ranks and also worked as a key member of the delivery team, Luci brings an unsurpassed knowledge of resource scheduling, utilisation and management, as well as a focus on customer relations and delivery of great service.
Fully qualified to Expert level and with a background as a lecturer and consultant, no-one is better equipped to match the skills and experience of the delivery team to deliver the best results for clients. Accredited to deliver training in all areas of the ITIL framework, including Software Asset Management, Luci has also delivered consulting projects including process maturity assessments and assisting clients to identify their goals enabling them to form a structured approach to meeting their requirements.
