Pink Elephant is a constantly growing, globally represented IT service provider offering solutions ranging from training to software development. For our UK operations in innovative software application development, we are looking for a BPM Consultant / Model Driven Developer to join our Mendix team.

As a Consultant / Model Driven Developer, you will contribute to the development of new and existing software applications for our customers. You are analytical, creative, have a strong knowledge of and affinity with object oriented or model driven software development, outstanding communication skills, and enjoy working in varied roles on varied projects. You want to use those skills to analyse problems and propose a solution based on your expert knowledge.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and analyse business processes in varied areas such as Insurance or Education, and translate these into functional and technical software specifications using Agile methodologies
• Develop software in close contact with your customers and team, using Mendix, our application development platform
• Get involved with all aspects of the delivery of our software solutions
• Occasionally use development skills such as Java to expand on our platform capabilities
• Contribute to the success of your projects with solid, quality design

Experience and Skills required

• Relevant technical or business Bachelor Degree or higher is required
• Experience with any of the following development skills: Mendix, Java, C++, C#, PHP, .NET
• Experience of working with, or knowledge of, the Agile Software Development model
• Knowledge of and interest in object oriented or model driven development
• Preferably 2+ years of experience in software development
• Goal oriented; driven by achieving success for our customers and getting things done
• Strong communication skills
