Peter joined Pink Elephant from university as a graduate Service Desk Support Analyst. Having spent the past 14 years working on a huge variety of client projects all around the world Peter has a diverse range of skills and experience to support his IT Service Management qualifications.
Clients consistently and repeatedly request the services of Peter as a high calibre consultant who is also incredibly proficient in the classroom as a lecturer. With one of his specialities in Software Asset Management, Peter has not only taught the course, he has implemented the process for clients, written and presented sessions for FAST and other industry bodies as well as having written numerous articles on the subject which have been published.
An absolute asset to Pink Elephant and every client organisation he delivers work for, Peter is a core part of the delivery team, always enthusiastic, the commensurate professional and always seeking to improve his own understanding of business – has now embarked upon an MBA.
Most people within the IT Service Management industry will be familiar with our ‘Grand Daddy’ of ITIL/ITSM, Ron Beales who has now played a fundamental role in the successful delivery of Pink Elephant services to clients for over 21 years.
Revered by colleagues and clients alike, Ron brings an unparalled level of experience to the classroom, having trained possibly more ITIL delegates on a worldwide basis than any other practising ITSM professional.
His pragmatism, endless enthusiasm for the subject, anecdotes and keen sense of humour ensure that courses taught by Ron are never dull. He teaches across the various levels of ITIL, Foundation, Intermediate and Managers and was one of the first lecturers in the UK to deliver the original Managers course developed in conjunction with the Civil Service College.
At the International Pink Elephant ITSM conference and exhibition in Las Vegas – Ron was officially honoured for his services to the company, on stage in front of over 1500 delegates by the President of Pink Elephant North America. He never fails to deliver, however demanding the request and is key member of the organisation.
Eddie is an experienced ICT consultant and project manager. He joined Pink Elephant in 2007 after working for 12 years at BT. Eddie is fully qualified in ITIL, IT Service Management, Software Asset Management and ISO20000. His other qualifications include Project Management, COBIT and MSP (Managing Successful Programmes) this is where Eddie excels.
His special area of focus is supporting ICT service providers in the planning, design, implementation and delivery of business change and transformation programmes. His last project with a UK Police force saw Eddie retained on the client project for over a year. He delivers value through enabling our clients to better enable their customers business processes.
A personable and enthusiastic advocate for great IT Service Management Eddie is an essential part of the Pink Elephant delivery team.
Kevin has an extensive background within the IT industry. As Computer Services Manager for Hertz and then Regional Support Manager for First Choice, Kevin came to Pink Elephant with a clear view from a client perspective on what it means to deliver great IT Service. Now a fully qualified ITIL consultant and lecturer, Kevin consistently delivers fantastic results and gets outstanding feedback from those who attend his classes.
Over the past 6 years Kevin has amassed an ITIL qualification portfolio that includes Foundation, Intermediate and Manager level courses. He is also heavily involved in the creation and review of course development in line with ITIL and industry changes and has a supplementary role as product owner for a range of courses.
Kevin’s results are driven by his attention to detail and tenacious nature which compliments the skill sets of the other delivery team members.
Having worked for the Pink Elephant organisation previously, Paul re-joined the UK Company just under 2 years ago. With a reputation within the industry which meant his knowledge and experience were highly sought after in the field of ITSM, Pink Elephant were delighted to welcome him back into the organisation.
Highly regarded by colleagues and clients alike, Paul is qualified across the spectrum of IT Service Management subjects including, ITIL Best Practice, Six Sigma, Prince 2, Training and Consultancy.
Working primarily as a consultant he uses his experience of selecting simple, realistic and cost effective IT solutions to meet customer’s requirements whilst taking into account Best Practice Methodologies.
Paul is adept at Project Managing service design, implementation and improvement programmes using Prince 2 Methodology. He is an excellent communicator who understands the importance of building relationships with clients to ensure their goals and strategy are understood and met.
As a senior member of the team Paul also brings leadership skills to the team including, recruiting, monitoring team performance, appraising staff and staff mentoring particularly with regard to Service Management disciplines.
Dave is another key member of the Pink Elephant delivery team with a long history both with the Pink Elephant organisation and IT Service Management. He has a wide variety of experience of most Service Management disciplines and has delivered client projects across the EMEA region, including a number of complex projects in the Middle East.
As a long standing ITIL V2 “expert” Dave has achieved excellent results as an accredited lecturer in Service Management at all levels. With every member of the delivery team bringing specific skills to our clients, Dave has delivered a large number of the business simulation, visioning workshops and ABC events which form part of our education and consulting portfolio. These events require an in-depth knowledge and understanding of ITSM and process, but also an understanding of how they can be delivered to assist clients with their transformation projects through enhanced communications.
He served as a member of the ISEB examiners panel for the V2 Managers Certificate examinations and a member of the ITIL v2 Senior Examiners panel for APM Group.
As an active member of the itSMF, Dave is a member and Vice Chair of the Qualifications and Certification panel, a member of the Publications Sub Committee, Vice Chair of the South Central Region Sub Group and a Fellow of the Institute of Service Managers. He also represents the itSMF UK Q&C on the itSMF International Qualifications & Certifications committee.
